I have known Larry
Proctor for 11 years now. In that time I have become a good friend
and admirer. The reason for this is simple and straightforward.
Larry Proctor is a man who thinks through the situation, researches
the possible solutions, and then tells me what he has found to be
true and votes for the better good. I admire someone who is willing
to do his homework and then vote, not his agenda, but his
convictions of what he knows is true. As an extra added measure, he
is always willing to listen to all sides and change his mind if
there is a better way. I can trust this man to be a County
Commissioner because I know before he makes his first vote he will
be voting for the best for Guilford County, he will always do his
research, and he will always be thinking about the people of this
county and their better good. He will tell me the truth.
I have endorsed Larry for other boards like the Board of Directors
at Teen Challenge...If you want a “Yes” man Larry is not the one you
want. If you want someone who will look at all sides and tell you
the truth, then Larry is your man.
I don’t do political endorsements. However, for me this is not a
political endorsement in the usual sense of that term. I am simply
telling, from my personal knowledge of his past interactions with
me, how I feel this man will do if he were holding a certain job
which happens to be a county commissioner. This is the way he would
approach any endeavor.
I am a registered Democrat but I will vote for an honest, hard
working man everyday of the week and twice on Sunday. I will vote
for Larry Proctor.

I am supporting Mr.
Larry Proctor simply because he is honorable, extremely good at
listen well, and wants to be accountable to the Citizens of Guilford
County.
I have also known him for a long time. Some of you know my name as
"Ask Dr. J" since I have written about leadership characteristics
for 14 years, i.e., Triad Business Journal, GGO, Chatter and now
Jamestown News. If you want a person that will hold himself and
others accountable for their actions, I urge you to support and vote
for Mr. Larry Proctor for County Commissioner.

Larry and Sherry
Proctor were outstanding church members here at Hinshaw. Kristy grew
up in MYF. They taught Sunday School and helped with MYF. You name
it and they helped. They were workers in this church. Sherry was
active at all levels within the church and Larry, for example, as a
trustee, spearheaded the getting rid of the old house located next
to the church and the building of the shelter/playground and
purchase of the new bus. The stories could go on for a page.
